A quaint historic community where neighbors know each other and homes are renovated with love.
Welcome to FQ Story
FQ Story is often referred to as a neighborhood that has it all. Founded in 1920 by Francis Quarles Story, a wool merchant turned advertiser known for making the Sunkist Orange famous, FQ Story is a classic historic district. Dogs, strollers, and families are regularly seen out walking, and neighborhood events are plentiful. Close to Grand Avenue and Roosevelt, FQ is considered a walkable, and bike-able, neighborhood.

THE REAL ESTATE MARKET
FQ Story is possibly one of the most well-preserved historic neighborhoods. Boasting a range of architectural styles ranging from Craftsman Bungalows to Tudors, to Spanish Colonials, to ranches, all the homes in FQ are single family. With the I-10 running through it, the neighborhood is split with half of the homes being above the 10, and half below.
THINGS TO DO
While there are no shops or restaurants within its boundaries, residents are never short of options. Right outside of FQ are Walter Studios, and Trans Am Cafe, both of which are great spots for food, drinks, and art. Palabras Bookstore is a part of the neighborhood and is a local bookstore that frequently hosts events. Also housed within the neighborhood is the Franklin Police and Fire High School, a large, historic school which is regularly open for tours.
