Welcome to Garfield
Originally an agricultural area, Garfield began to change into a residential neighborhood in the 1880’s. The original subdivision was completed in 1955. Since then, Garfield has gone through much change, including the addition of small businesses throughout the neighborhood. Sitting next to Evans-Churchill and Downtown Phoenix, Garfield is a part of the arts scene and is considered a fun, eclectic neighborhood.
